Veteran Christian pop group
Point of Grace has "gone country" on their first new album in nearly three years. The group (currently a trio comprised of Denise Jones, Shelley Breen, and Leigh Cappillino) has left their standard sound behind in favor of a little bit of twang and a lot of "organic instruments." But never fear - their powerful vocal harmonies remain in tact!
No Changin' Us is a well-produced project that is solid throughout. The 11 new tracks are alternately catchy and heart-catching. The CD features songs brimming with love and life ("No Changin' Us," Love and Laundry"); and hope, grace, and faith ("He Holds Everything," "There Is Nothing Greater Than Grace," "Wildflower"). If you've enjoyed Point of Grace in the past, then
No Changin' Us would make a great addition to your Spring playlist.
