There are books that come along that you hope and pray everyone will read. This is one of those books. Francis Chan wrote
Crazy Love because of his realization of God's "crazy love" for him. It's crazy because it's not rational for the God that created the universe (all powerful) to humble Himself and come to this earth and die for us, sinful as we are. If God has done this for us, what should be our response back to Him?
Francis Chan uses the book to challenge us to examine our response(s). Are we obedient, or have we let our culture shape us inappropriately? Chan is a relatively new author, but I believe God is using him to awaken the church to its radical call to be salt and light in the midst of a perverse culture.
