Our Staff
Floyd Turner
Floyd Turner has been the Chief Engineer for the station since its inception, helping in the construction of WBGW, in 1990. Floyd was asked to manage the operation and in Don’s words, “to keep it on the air.” He is responsible for all technical operation and for fulfilling all FCC requirements. Floyd is known around the station for his uncanny ability to fix anything with an internal computer.

Don & Shirley Chagle
Our founders, Don and Shirley, have had a long-time vision of reaching the lost for Jesus Christ through Christian Radio. Don worked more than 30 years in the auto parts business and Shirley as a medical secretary. Their son, Randy, is married to Kim and they have two children, Kelsey and Trevor. Shirley enjoys writing prayer notes and thank you letters to our listeners and Don is an ace auction-goer.

Susan Turner
Susan Turner, wife of Floyd and Mom to Bill, has recently taken on more duties in addition to being Financial Secretary for the corporation. Helping with newsletter articles and some of the day-to-day operations, frees up Floyd to pursue the recent expansion projects. Susan also enjoys reading and projects around her house.

Richard Barton
Richard Barton comes to us after 35 years establishing his business here in the Tri-State. Like Don Chagle, Rick knows nearly every road in the area and is ready to serve in the area of Outreach Ministries and donor relationships. He’ll be making contacts throughout our listening area. Rick and Marilyn have two grown, married sons and one grandson, their pride and joy. They make their home on the west side of Evansville.

Liz Carpenter
Liz Carpenter joined us in 2000 as an intern and has assisted and served in the area of promotions and event planning ever since. Currently, she also handles donations, updates the website, assists with various station events and publicity, and writes (and sometimes records) many of the promotional spots you hear on the air. Liz loves music, is an avid reader, a member of the Greater Evansville Figure Skating Club, and has been a middle school "sponsor" at her church for nearly nine years.

Bill Turner
Bill Turner has joined us full time working in the IT Department and assisting in the Maintenance Department when needed. Having grown up in the ministry here, he is acquainted with almost every area of ministry. The never-ending job of keeping all of these computers working and virus free guarantees Bill’s job security!
